Dieser Arbeitsbericht dokumentiert die Entwicklung eines erweiterten Metadatenprofils für organisationsbezogene digitale Ressourcen im Hochschulkontext. Ausgehend von der Identifikation einer bisher wenig beachteten Ressourcenkategorie – den „Open Organizational Resources“ (OOR) – wird die Notwendigkeit einer Erweiterung des etablierten „Allgemeinen Metadatenprofils für Bildungsressourcen“ (AMB) aufgezeigt. Die durchgeführte Dokumentenanalyse legt ein fragmentiertes Ökosystem für organisationsbezogene Online-Ressourcen und fundamentale Unterschiede zu herkömmlichen Bildungsressourcen offen. Das entwickelte erweiterte Metadatenprofil führt neue Attribute und Wertelisten ein, die spezifisch auf organisationale Kontexte, Zielgruppen und Aktivitätstypen ausgerichtet sind. Die praktische Implementierung erfolgt durch ein WordPress-Plugin, das die automatische Generierung von Metadaten im Quelltext und die Integration externer Vokabulare ermöglicht. Die hier dokumentierte Arbeit leistet einen wichtigen Beitrag zur systematischen Erfassung von Praxiswissen für die Hochschulorganisation und eröffnet neue Perspektiven für den institutionenübergreifenden Wissenstransfer.
This report documents the development of an extended metadata profile for organization-related digital resources in the higher education context. Based on the identification of a resource category that has so far received little attention – the “Open Organizational Resources” (OOR) – the need for an extension of the established “General Metadata Profile for Educational Resources” (AMB) is demonstrated. The document analysis carried out reveals a fragmented ecosystem for organizational online resources and fundamental differences to conventional educational resources. The developed extended metadata profile introduces new attributes and value lists that are specific to organizational contexts, target groups and activity types. The practical implementation is carried out using a WordPress plugin that enables the automatic generation of metadata in the source text and the integration of external vocabularies. The work documented here makes an important contribution to the systematic recording of practical knowledge for the university organization and opens up new perspectives for cross-institutional knowledge transfer.
